Children's Ministry
Jesus spoke of the preciousness of a child's faith. If through God's power a boy can slay a giant or feed 5000 people with a small lunch, how great should be our esteem of what God has hidden in the heart of a child of faith?
Maranatha sees the necessity to have an interegrated approach to training and ministering to children. Our aim is to take children through stages of Christian development, on into the Firehouse Youth ministry, and eventually to full mature participation in the things of God. Children's ministry does not meet on the first Sunday of the month so kids can participate in Communion with their parents.
Children's Service (Ages 5-11)

"Your sons and daughters shall prophecy..." (Acts 2) says the Word of God. During this time of grace and season of outpouring, God wants to anoint even the children for worship, prophecy, and proclamation of the gospel.
Children's Service is a time of training and mentoring for the children in the things of Spirit. Before each service, a group of intercessors pray for God's visitation upon the children and those who mentor. Calls for repentance and salvation reach out to a generation of future warriors in God's Kingdom.
Testimonies of God's grace and goodness come forth from the children's lives as they open themselves to Him. Bishop Callahan's call to "save a generation" finds full expressions during these anointed services.
"Noah's Kids" (Ages 1-4)
"Noah's Kids" is a special ministry to children ages 1-4 years of age. Special times of care and ministry are planned by Maranatha Christian Church experienced staff and volunteer workers.
Our vision is to minister to the whole family without overlooking or falling short with any one member no matter how young. Infants dedicated in our services are seen as future disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ.
