"Destiny" is the inspiration that God has deposited into Phyllis Callahan's spirit. Whether it is encouraging women in their walk with God, or challenging young people to greatness in service or ministering and praying with pastors' wives or staff, Dr. Phyllis lifts people to a higher level of excellence. A registered nurse and teacher by profession, Phyllis serves as the pastor of Adult Education and Worship Pastor for Maranatha. She gives direction to Christian Life Educators Network and Christian Life School of Theology as Dean of the local church campus. Christian Life School of Theology provides the core curriculum for Destiny International Leadership Center, Maranatha’s Biblical training arm for individuals who sense a fivefold ministry call upon their lives, and in which Dr. Phyllis serves as an instructor. Students may earn theology degrees through CLST and the State Department of Education – Georgia, and also certificates of completion in Biblical studies from Destiny International for either one, two or three years of study.
Phyllis is the secretary / treasurer for Maranatha Ministerial Fellowship, International, and is a member of the Apostolic Board for the fellowship. She has the privilege of assisting her husband, along with other board members, in licensing and ordaining men and women of God who are called into full-time ministry.
She holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from Christian Life School of Theology, and travels extensively with her husband, both domestically and abroad, ministering God’s Word in churches and conferences.
